Today was such a great day with the girls! (as if all of them aren't) They all fed so well, both nursing and with their bottles. Grandma got to feed both Brooke and Taylor their bottles this morning!
They now are all able to have bottles whenever their cues tell the nurses they are ready. So at their scheduled feeding times if they are rooting and showing signs of being hungry, a bottle it is! This is exciting, I still hate the thought of them having the tube pushed down their throats, I know it is not painful but they make unhappy faces every time they do it, so it must just be uncomfortable!
The tentative plan is to move the girls up to the Pediatric floor this Sunday Nov. 15th. Yeah! Although we will miss many of the nurses from the NICU, it will be so nice to have our own space. Many of the NICU nurses do spend time up on the Peds floor, but not all of the ones we just love! On Peds the girls will be in a regular hospital room with a private bathroom, TV and a bed that we can use to stay the night if we choose. It will be nice to have the privacy of our own room for nursing and when the Grandparents come and when Auntie Beth and Justo come for Thanksgiving.
