A HUGE THANK YOU is in order to my sister Ang and her husband Eric, my parents, Chris's parents and Cassandra! We could not have made it through this past weekend without you! Between the seven of them the girls were totally occupied and had an absolute blast! Many of these pictures were taken by Aunt Ang. She was here for a week and man did the girls have a blast with her!
They are doing so many new things, and their vocabulary is growing every day which is so much fun to hear!!! They are saying each other's names, especially Taylor, she always makes sure her sisters are included. For example with their tutus, Brooke always wants hers on, so then Taylor does too and so she will say Sydney and bring hers to her. They are really getting along well too, they have started to be entertained by each other. Of course there are pushes, hits and toy stealing, but they seem to really enjoy each other these days!

There have been many sweet moments in the past few weeks, whether it be while I was still pregnant when the girls would come over and kiss my belly, or now when they peek into Vaughn's bed to see if he is in there first thing when they come down from naps. It is absolutely the sweetest thing a mother could see, the curiosity is so pure!
These videos were taken before he was born, the funny thing is that Sydney was the one who most consistently came over and said "hi buddy", but of course we couldn't get that on video, she can be a little camera shy.
I couldn't choose between these two videos, so what the heck include them both!
The girls meeting Vaughn for the first time:
Sydney was the most curious and couldn't get enough of him, she was very interested in him. She almost seemed a little shy when approaching him, very cautious and super gentle. Taylor was interested, but not like Sydeny, as usual, she was all smiles. Brooke came over checked out the scene, and got back to running through the curtain in the hospital room. That was much more fun! TaylorSydneyWho knew the big curtain would be such a source of entertainment! When he cries, Taylor comes over and says, "baby, shhhh".

Our son, and final child has arrived!!! Friday June 24th at 7:50am Vaughn was born weighing 6lbs 9oz and 18inches long. He is doing wonderful and a very healthy little boy! It has been an amazing few days, so very different than the first time around. It is the most precious feeling to be able to hold and snuggle and care for one baby. The stress and concern we felt when the girls were born was absent, this has been a very calm and joyful time for us. Vaughn is a great eater so far, I think we are starting to get the nursing thing down and he seems to be a pretty chill dude! Enough said, these two pictures tell it all, he is perfect:
What a great weekend we had! Saturday we got things around the house accomplished, but for some reason the girls all woke up cranky and really didn't break out of it until we brought them outside. The forecast said rain all day long, but it ended up being an absolutely beautiful day. We pulled out the water table and the new water ring Grandma and Grandpa bought and Chris and I chilled out in the shade of our new umbrella. Yeah! The girls were totally occupied for over an hour, they love the water and Syd and Brooke really loved the water ring. Taylor did really leave the water table long enough to explore anything else. It turned out to be a great day, although by the time dinner and showers were done Chris and I were definitely ready for some quiet "no kiddo" time! Brooke and Syd Taylor BrookeSydney Father's Day itself was also a wonderful day. Chris and his Mom and Dad headed to Lake Geneva for some golf, one of Chris's favorite things. Meanwhile, the girls and I went to brunch with my parents and Auntie Ang who got into town last night, YEAH! We went to the Fox and Hound in Hubertus, it was delicious and the girls were super!!! After all the excitement I brought the girls home for naps, we all took a nice one while we waited for Dad and his parents to get home. The girls were so awesome to take a long nap because I really needed a little time to put my feet up. When everyone arrived we got the girls up and played like crazy for awhile. All three girls were still pretty tuckered out from missing their morning naps, so they were more than ready to call it a night at 6:15! I then put some steaks on the grill and Chris and I had a nice dinner outside. What an enjoyable day, we got to see all the Dads (and Moms) which is always fantastic! We love you all very much!!!
It was very special for both Ang and I to be able to celebrate Father's Day with our Dad!
