What a blessed day we had! A few weeks back Chris's Mom, Mary and my Mom, Becky met for lunch to put together a plan for Thanksgiving Day. We were not sure if the girls would be home yet, but the plan was either at Mary's house if none of the girls were home and our house if they were. They divided up the meal and went to work on what was an amazing feast. Chris's Dad, Rick made the turkey to perfection! Snicker cheesecake and pumpkin pie, delicious Mom! Chris's only sibling, Beth and her boyfriend Justo were also in town from New York. Those who were not cooking were holding/feeding/cuddling babies. A huge Thank You to all, we love you so much and we love the way you love our girls!
We have so much to be thankful for always, but especially this year! 2009 was a year of change for us all and wow was it amazing! A loving and hilarious husband, three beautiful healthy children, a family that is dedicated to each other and of course all the friends we could not live without.
By the time the evening came Chris and I were exhausted, we actually had about a three hour stretch of sleep last night, but the sofa was seriously calling! Mmmm just thinking about all the delicious left-overs waiting in the fridge makes my mouth water. Time to catch a few Zs before the Midnight feeding. Good night!
