Last weekend, for our anniversary Busia and Papa decided they would give us a break and take the three girls overnight. I had no doubt things would go smoothly and the sure did. Everyone had an absolute blast, my parents are still talking about it. The question was, would they sleep well there without me at the house? We had slept there a number of times in the past and they did great, but without Mom or Dad, how would it go? I had not even one reservation because I knew Busia and Papa would completely exhaust them, like they always do and when bedtime came they would be more than ready. That is exactly what happened. They are like piggies and slept like logs. What a great time for everyone!

While they were all having the time of their lives, Chris and I got to see what it was like to have a weekend with one baby. We had a great time as well. We went out for breakfast, ran some errands, went downtown to our old neighborhood and walked around and generally had a nice chill weekend with Vaughn. We were definitely excited to see the girls by Sunday afternoon.The girls were very interested in Papa's wooden alligator that he keeps by his office door. They wanted to check it out all weekend. Busia and Papa eventually had to close the door and tell the girls the alligator went night night so they would do something other than stand staring at the thing! Then the girls began saying " night night alligator, shhhhhh". How cute is that?
