It was the most beautiful day we have had for awhile, the humidity finally subsided and it was really the perfect Summer day (not sure how many of those are left). We decided to take the girls to the POOL!!!! I was totally excited because we took them to Wirth Park, in Brookfield, which is where my sister and I used to go everyday in Summer. We lived super close and would walk there every afternoon and would swim like crazy and then hit up the cotton candy/snow cone truck that was always parked in the parking lot. Apparently about ten years ago they did a big renovation and it sure is nice. They now have a zero depth pool for the kiddies and a huge sandbox too. Oh, and they now have their own concessions so they "treat truck" is no longer there :( .
The girls seemed to really enjoy the water, we sat for about an hour with them. Check out the pics!
