Up North II

Our summer get away was up North to see Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle John, Uncle Gene, Auntie Beth and Justo. What a great week!!! Although there are a ton of supplies to bring up for three 10 month olds, (toys, toys, toys) there is no shortage of space up for everyone to be comfortable. The girls took over Grandpa's office and well, the entire living area and kitchen. We had a big blanket covering the family room carpet and toys everywhere. It was fun for the girls because they got to explore the kitchen and finally discovered the bedrooms by the end of the trip.

We had a great time hanging out with everyone and playing cards, getting to play on wave runners, learning to golf and just spending time with the family! What a great place to come together and have fun! I know this will be one of the girls favorite places to go when they are older!

Taylor zonked out on Grandpa

The girls having fun outside!

Brooke with Mom taking a dip in the water, and Taylor with Dad playing in the water. Sydney hanging with Grandma floating around! The water was pretty warm, it just was not very hot the day we got them ready for the water. The sun was not shinning so that made a big difference in how refreshing the water felt! Overall I think they all enjoyed the water, they was no crying whatsoever!

Taylor loved hanging out in the kitchen, she also discovered the dog food and water bowls, not cool!

Sydney's teeth seemed to be bothering her a bunch while we were gone. By the way, she now has four, two top and two bottom!!! Grandma took her out to the hammock which she loved! Poor little sweetie was so tired in this picture! This baby loves to swing!!!

Taylor with Auntie Beth and Grandma with Sydney chillin' in the adorable colored chairs Grandma bought them.

Great Uncle John was a HUGE help with the girls. He got into feeding them and played with them a ton. Taylor decided his shoulder was the perfect place for a little cat nap! Doesn't she look angelic?

Brooke playing with her Great Uncle Gene

We decided that we are going to take a picture with the girls and the moose every time we are up North to compare how they have grown. The first picture is from this most recent visit and second picture was when we were up for Memorial Day. I
have to be honest I thought I would see a much bigger difference. Aside from the sitting they don't look that different to me. Huh?!?

A beautiful blue heron was hanging out on the end of the pier, just a glimpse of the wonderful wild life we see up North! There is also a family eagles that lives in the pines in the back yard. They are absolutely stunning to watch.
