During the lunch feeding today, out of the blue, Sydney decided she wanted the spoon! She knew just what to do with it too! What a little sweetie! She literally got a good hold on the spoon as I was putting food in her mouth, I let go and she brought it to her mouth and began sucking on it(since all the food fell into her lap). I don't think she is going to be feeding herself anytime soon, but she is definitely showing progress in her eating abilities. She just loves it, all smiles and giggles the entire time, even if she is eating peas! So far she has eaten, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, garden mixed vegetables, and sweet potatoes with corn. She seems to like them all. Tomorrow she will try fruits for the first time, this should be a real treat for her! Nice work Syd!
