It is hard to believe our girls are already 2 years old! They have come so far and the time has gone so incredibly fast. We didn't have a big party or make a big to do about this birthday, mostly because we didn't know how crazy life would get when Vaughn was born. On Oct 2nd, we had both sets of Grandparents and Cassandra (our awesome Nanny) over for a lasagna dinner. Chris and I took the girls out to the Elegant Farmer for a hayride which they all seemed to love! We had to wait in line for about 20mins and they girls were so patient! They really are awesome little girls! They received many generous gifts from friends and family, a bounce house, tons of bracelets and clothes, DVDs, purses, easels, a Dr. kit and the list goes on...! We are so blessed to have these healthy little miracles!!! Check out our cuties:
In the morning Chris took Syd and Brooke to get Italian bread for dinner, so while Vaughn napped, Taylor and I had a bit of time to make lasagna together. She helped test the noodles to make sure they were not over cooked, and had to have her Minnie Mouse hat on to do it!

In the car, snacking on snacks and singing songs!

My first attempt at baking a special cake for the girls. Wouldn't you know it, after everyone had a piece I put the cover on the cake. Then next day I opened the cover to find a fly had been caught under it all night, it totally grossed me out so I had to throw the cake away! What are the odds of that happening???

Since the girls actual birthday landed on a Monday, we waited to give them the gifts from us when Dad got home from work. We got them each a huge teddy bear! BST

The best picture I could get of all three of the girls together...
